The PEFA® SYOKIMAU SCHOOL Kindergarten provides a wonderful introduction to learning and socialisation within a warm and friendly international environment. Located in an independent section of the school campus, students enjoy the space to learn, play, and discover the world around them. Each group of students has dedicated and qualified Syokimau Kindergarten teachers and Kindergarten assistants who provide developmentally appropriate guidance to young learners within a stimulating and nurturing environment.
The Kindergarten education program at PEFA SCHOOL® SYOKIMAU features daily world language instruction and activities that build a solid foundation for math, science, and language concepts. From KG1, Kiswahili and French are also introduced to students as a second language. To develop their young minds, and help them develop a lifelong love of learning, students also enjoy a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, exploration, music, technology, and weekly physical education and swimming lessons.
Our Playgroup class provides a fun, nurturing environment where young learners develop social, motor, and cognitive skills through play-based activities.
Our Kindergarten program is designed for children aged 1.5 to 3 years, providing a solid foundation for early learning before transitioning to Pre-Primary (PP1 & PP2).
The Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) focuses on play-based learning, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills, ensuring holistic development and preparing children for future learning stages.
We offer safe and spacious classrooms, a dedicated play area, learning materials, and interactive activities like music, storytelling, and art to foster an engaging learning experience.
